Flaxdrayton Workshops are delighted to open their doors to the public for a special day of discovery, creativity, and community.
Step back in time and explore the fascinating history of this Victorian farmyard, while enjoying a rare glimpse into the many thriving businesses and workshops that now call it home. Nestled in the beautiful Somerset countryside, each brings its own passion, craft, and creativity to make this a unique and inspiring place.
The farm has been in the Blake family since it was built in 1858. Today, Francis and Jane Blake continue its story. After farming organically in the 1970s, a devastating fire in 1993 became the turning point: the buildings were gradually restored and transformed into today’s vibrant community of more than 20 small businesses.
