Despite being a small town, Ilminster has one of the best Christmas light displays in Somerset. The entire town is decorated with thousands of lights, from the marketing square through to West Street, Silver Street and beyond. Culminating in an evening of fun, drinks, food, puppet shows and a count down for the light switch on celebrations at 19:00.
This year's switch on now takes place on Sunday 22nd
With a new date selected, organisers hope to make this year's festivities even bigger, with a Christmas market in Silver Street.
